I'm Watching You

Placing a computer chip in an animal is one thing, but putting one of these tracking devices in a person is completely different. Especially if the person is unaware that they have the chip on/in them. I feel that parents being able to track their young child (age 5 and below) is understandable. Children of this age should not be trusted to wander out in the real world by themselves. However, once the child starts becoming more independent and the parents are using the device to spy on the whereabouts of their child, they are now violating their privacy. Using the chip to identify a missing person is less morally questionable than using it to follow someone's every step.
